General Info
Ceremony
Reception
To Do/Eat/Stay
The ceremony will be held at St. Francis Xavier Parish (420 W Pine Street) near Downtown Missoula at 1:30 p.m.
There is free parking directly in front of the church and in the parking lot across the street, and ramp access on the right side of the building.
We're very excited to have friends and family come together for our wedding after *checks watch* almost 14 years of serious dating.
-
Kids and babies are welcome, just let us know how many are attending when you RSVP.
-
No particular dress code--wear whatever you would like! If you're flying here, pack a jacket just in case we get a late spring skiff of snow. The reception will be partly indoors and partly out, so wear shoes that can handle some grass and a rickety wooden deck.

Travel
-
Missoula International Airport has direct flights from major cities including Denver, Seattle, Salt Lake and Minneapolis. You can also fly into Glacier International Airport (2.5 hours away, near Glacier National Park), Butte (2 hours away), or Bozeman (3 hours away, near Yellowstone) if you're looking to check out other parts of MT before or after the wedding.
To Stay
-
Hotels:
-
This is tourist season (and high school graduation weekend). We recommend booking as early as possible. There are major hotel chains near North Reserve Street if you want to be closer to the interstate, airport and Snowbowl (e.g. C'mon Inn, Best Western), and there are a handful of options downtown if you want to be able to just ditch the car and walk around (e.g. (Holiday Inn, The Wren).
-
-
Campgrounds:
-
There are a few RV parks and various State or National Forest Campgrounds in the area, but they do require a bit of driving and they fill up fast. Check out recreation.gov or montanastateparks.reserveamerica.com.

Day tripping:
-
Missoula borders the Rattlesnake Wilderness and is within a couple of hours of amazing hiking in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, Mission Mountains, and Bitterroot Mountains. We love Seeley Lake (visiting Gus, the world's largest Western Larch), Lake Como, Flathead Lake, the Mission Valley and the Great Burn area outside Superior. Take a guided rafting trip down the Lochsa River if you're looking for big water! There are plenty of great fishing spots on the Blackfoot, Clark Fork, and Bitterroot rivers, or up the famous Rock Creek. Drive up Highway 12 and stop at The Jack for a drink. Butte has an amazing historic downtown, Hamilton has good beer, burgers, and hiking nearby, and the CSKT Bison Range has great wildlife and views of the Mission range.

-
For kids:
-
Head to Phillipsburg to mine for sapphires and check out the Sweet Palace (take the Skalkaho highway on your way home). Take a trip to Garnet Ghost Town, or hang out in town at Missoula's Carousel and Dragon Hallow, Splash Montana, or Dinner in the Park
-
Give us a shout if you want any more advice, we'd love to help!
We'll meet at Montana Snowbowl's Ski Lodge (1700 Snow Bowl Rd) for pizza, drinks and a dance party.
5pm: Drinks and appetizers!
6pm: Dinner!
Snowbowl is a 30 minute drive from downtown Missoula. A large part of the drive is on a dirt road, but it's well-graded and any vehicle will work fine.
Note that there is no cell service up at Snowbowl or along parts of the drive, so plan your party exit strategy beforehand--you won't be able to call a cab.
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on Snowbowl property, but you can leave them with your car in the large dirt parking lot, which is a short walk from the lodge.
Those with RVs, campers, or dirtbag aspirations may camp in the parking lot or pitch a tent near the lodge for the night, but there are no RV hookups.
